Overview

There's a reason trekkers whisper about Dudipatsar Lake instead of shouting about it — it's still one of the least crowded alpine lakes in Kaghan Valley, and TourRangers wants to keep it that way while sharing it with the trekking community of Pakistan.
Tucked inside Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park at the northern end of Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dudipatsar Lake (also spelled Dudipat Lake) sits in a wide, glacier-carved bowl ringed by snow-clad peaks. Locals call it the Queen of All Lakes, and once you've walked through the golden pastures of Mula Ki Basti to reach its shores, you'll understand why. This isn't a drive-up, selfie-and-leave destination — it's a proper trek, and that's exactly what keeps it wild.
Join TourRangers on our signature Dudipatsar Lake trek itinerary and experience turquoise water, marmots darting through meadows, and campfire nights under some of the clearest skies in Pakistan.
Good to know: graded moderate, suitable for ages 10 and up. Day 1 involves a 10 km trek of 6–8 hours depending on fitness. Days are pleasant but nights are cold. We carry live tracking and a satellite phone. Don't have gear? We can arrange it or guide you on where to buy it.
