Traveller stories

Trusted by adventurers from around the world

Rated 4.9 on average across hundreds of trips. Here's what our travellers say.

Went on the Churko peak trek with Tour Rangers in Feb. For first-timers and beginners, this particular trek is slightly challenging but it has been structured by organizers in a way that allows you to climb based on your ability and pace. We had a few individuals who were lagging behind and couldn’t keep up. The organizers made sure they weren’t alone and someone was always with them if they got too slow. Further, the trek had 2 base camps and you can stay there if you feel you can’t continue. Reaching the summit is an experience in itself but it’s very demanding and the team is transparent about it. They don’t force you to do more than you can but they do encourage and guide you where needed. Other than the trek itself, you don’t need to worry about anything with Tour Rangers. They take care of your meals, breaks, schedule, timings, equipment (if you inform them beforehand) and tell you what to do/arrange you only need to follow their lead on the trek. The organizers and their team were also great company (we were all guys in the group) and shared their stories and experiences. Keep in mind that this tour is a trekking expedition and not for a resort/picnic. We knew that beforehand and so prepared accordingly. The organizers are helpful and honest so do ask them if you have any expectations beforehand. All in all, a great experience specially because you don’t need to worry about anything other than your trek which is how tours should be managed. Also the meals they gave us were always freshly cooked and honestly very tasty (rice, chicken, quorma etc and paratha omelette in breakfasts). Other than that, chaaye and Maggi from time to time, in trekking breaks and drinking water on camp sites. They give you sleeping bags to sleep and any other equipment you’ll need you can request beforehand and they will arrange. I’m looking to travel again with them for the Kashmir to Naran trip in summer. I’ve heard it’s less challenging and more of a scenic trek.

Perfectly organised for three generations travelling together. The hotels were lovely, the guide was endlessly patient, and our kids still talk about the boat ride on Attabad Lake.

Overall it was a great tour.. Obviously there are few things to improve like: – Departure & Stays – Alternate stay should be considered if huts not usable – Daypack should be distributed before trek as different people hike at different pace

It was an amazing experience to trek Makra till summit, with TourRangers. I appreciate the motivation & energy of the company staff. They kept every single person engaged & included, throughout the trip, which is the best strategy for any such event management. Everything was finely done, be its logisitics, time management, camping, food, track's knowledge & study (as Makra is not an easy push) Hats off guys keep up the good work
