Overview

Neelum is the softer, greener side of the north — pine-clad slopes, waterfalls tumbling to the road, and the impossibly green river that gives the valley its name.
We follow it deep into Azad Kashmir, with nights in riverside guesthouses and a cable-car-and-hike up to Arang Kel, a meadow village suspended above the valley. Relaxed enough for families, beautiful enough for anyone.
