Naran is the main center of tourism in the Kaghan Valley. Most visitors stay in Naran for a few days while enjoying the various day excursions to Lake Saiful Muluk in mid April and May.

Saif ul Malook Lake is a famous tourist resort, well-known for the associated story of a Persian prince Saif ul Malook. It is located about 8 kilometers (5 miles) north of the town of Naran. The lake with its majestic and mesmerizing natural beauty, pleasant atmosphere and associated tale and history, attracts thousands of tourists each year from all around the country during the summer.

Itinerary:

Day 01 – Departure for Shogran
Departure from Lahore at 12:00 AM, Arrival and Pick-up participants from Islamabad at 6:00 AM, Breakfast at Haripur, Continue drive towards balakot, stopover at Balakot, Drive to Shogran, Arrival Shogran at 3:30 PM, Check-in into hotel, Overnight in Shogran.

Day 02 – Saif-ul-Malook Lake Excursion
Breakfast at 8:00 AM, Departure for Naran, Arrival Naran and check-in into Hotel, After some rest, start trek towards Saif-ul-Malook Lake. Enjoy the snowy peaks and trek. Retrace to Naran at 6:00 PM, Overnight in Naran.

Day 03 – Water Rafting & Back to Islamabad
Breakfast at 9:00 AM, Water rafting in Naran, Drive back to Islamabad and Lahore.
