Satsar Mala, Sambak Sar, Daram Sar Trek

TourRangers presents yet another less traversed trek for the trekking community of Pakistan. This time the team will cover Sat Sar Mala Lakes, Sambak Sar Lake, and Daramsar Lake.  

Sat Sar Mala Lakes is a very rare destination of Upper Kaghan Valley. It is a series of 7 lakes hence the name Sat Sar Mala. 5 of these lakes are in cascades and the water from the topmost lake falls into the next and so on. Surkhail Lake is the highest lake of Sat Sar Mala and is the topmost cascade as well. The altitude is 14,100 ft.  

The lakes are accessible for a very short period of time and are snowbound for most part of the year. The best time to visit is between Aug-Sep. There is a small village between Jalkhad and Babusar Pass called Gittidas and the trek starts just a turn before this village.

Note: People coming from other cities can join the tour from Islamabad. We can arrange Bus/Train/Air tickets for their comfortable travel to Islamabad and Hotel stay if they want to stay an extra night in Islamabad.
